# WoWPulse

> WoWPulse publishes live World of Warcraft meta analytics: S–D tier lists, spec build guides
> (talents, BiS gear, enchants, gems, stat priorities), and patch digests. Everything is
> generated from observed data on top-ranked players (Blizzard API
> leaderboards and player profiles), aggregated into ranked snapshots and refreshed continuously —
> typically multiple times per day. It is not editorial opinion; tier placements come from what
> high-rated players actually play.

## Data provenance

- Source: official Blizzard API leaderboards (Mythic+, Raid, Solo Shuffle, 2v2, 3v3, Blitz, RBG)
  and the equipped gear/talents of top-ranked players.
- Method: specs are ranked by popularity share among top players with Wilson confidence intervals;
  tiers (S–D) are banded from each spec's share relative to the #1 spec. Low-sample specs are
  listed but excluded from tiering.
- Freshness: pages state their own "updated" timestamp; snapshots regenerate continuously.
- Regions: US and EU (append ?region=eu for EU; US is the default).
